Vic Chuah Men Sin

Chief Executive Officer

Vic Chuah is a seasoned advisor in the capital market, specializing in Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) processes across Hong Kong, China, and NASDAQ. Currently serving as the China Senior Partner for SPAC listings at Wenin Capital, he holds a pivotal role in facilitating NASDAQ listings for the company.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economy from University Putra Malaysia, Vic commenced his career as a Marketing Manager at United Oversea Bank (UOB). In this capacity, he managed credit proposals, loans sanctioning, and loan disbursement.

Following his tenure at UOB, Vic served as a Financial Advisor at Rome Consultant, where he played a crucial role in assisting over 600 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with their financial structuring needs. Notably, he successfully raised funds for three listed companies, amounting to RM80 million.

In 2017, Vic ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing FG Capital. His firm specializes in both equity and debt financing, covering a spectrum of financial services such as pre and post IPO fundraising, private placements, and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) for equity financing. Additionally, the firm provides bank financing and mezzanine bridging loans as part of its debt financing services.

Between 2017 and 2019, Vic achieved significant milestones by successfully listing four Malaysian companies on stock exchanges in Fuzhou, China, and Hong Kong. These companies include Hansard Group Sdn Bhd, LKB Bio Innovations Co. Limited, Manjong Bio Ocean Venture Sdn Bhd, and Heng Hup Holdings Limited.

Christopher Wong

Chief Operating Officer

Christopher is a seasoned professional in the finance and investment industry, boasting a wealth of experience gained from prestigious roles at renowned multinational companies such as the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and International Business Machines (IBM).

After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University, Christopher commenced his career as a Fund Accountant at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). In this role, he meticulously calculated the Net Asset Value (NAV) of RBC’s investment portfolio, focusing primarily on assets within the London Stock Exchange.

Transitioning to International Business Machines (IBM) Malaysia, Christopher took on the role of a country financial analyst. Here, he assumed responsibility for forecasting and projecting the financial aspects of the entire software category for the Philippines. Christopher played a crucial role in ensuring that software projects and implementations adhered to the company’s budget while effectively managing macroeconomic risks.

Joining Crewstone International at the youthful age of 28, Christopher demonstrated a unique approach to investments and a profound understanding of investor needs. In his initial 12 months with the company, he showcased remarkable expertise by structuring, creating, setting up, and managing funds exceeding USD 125,000,000 in assets under management. Notably, Christopher earned the distinction of being one of the youngest professionals in the industry to accomplish setting up and managing funds with over USD 100,000,000 in assets under management.

Beyond fund management, Christopher played a pivotal role in raising capital for multiple companies, securing investments totaling more than RM30,000,000. His capabilities extend to providing consultation to multiple multi-million dollar public listed companies, both locally and internationally, addressing their financing and structuring needs.

Currently, Christopher leads Spartan Ives Advisory’s expansion into South East Asia advisory market especially advisory on client’s business restructuring needs or licensing requests to operate in capital markets. Together with the CEO, he also spearheads strategic initiatives with the commitment of cornerstone investor funds for Initial Public Offerings on NASDAQ. The ambitious goal is to successfully guide more than 10 companies in obtaining their required license to operate in the capital market and 10 companies to be listed on NASDAQ within 5 years.
